CHOOSE

Look for firm jicamas with tightly fitting unbruised skin. Avoid soft or wet spots and shriveled skin. Pick smaller jicamas to enjoy a sweeter taste.

STORE

Uncut: just like potatoes, store it in a cool dry place, uncovered. Beware of moisture – jicama molds easily.

Cut: in a plastic bag in the crisper, it will keep for up to 2 weeks.
