CHOOSE

Look for jet black colour. Its texture should be solid and crispy, even in thickness and without any holes.

STORE

Keep sealed packages of nori in a cool dark place. Unopened packages can be stored as long as six months in the fridge and ten months in the freezer. If you have leftover nori sheets, put them in a plastic food bag and squeeze the air out. You should use them within four weeks.
