DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the oven to 350° F/175° C/ Gas Mark 4.
  2. Lightly grease a 2-quart baking pan.
  3. Prepare a large skillet. Add ground beef, onion, and celery. Cook them over a medium-high heat or until juices run clear.
  4. Drain the mixture and pour it into the baking pan.
  5. Add vegetable soup and thyme and top the mixture with mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, then sprinkle with cheese and bake for 5 minutes more.
