  1. Combine sugar, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke flavoring. Add salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. 
  2. Place the meat in the slow cooker. Pour the sugar mixture over the meat. Cover. Cook on LOW for 10 hours. 
  3. Remove the meat. Shred using a fork. Return to the slow cooker. Stir. Cook for 1 hour. Serve and enjoy your easy slow cooker BBQ beef!
