DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350° F/175° C/Gas Mark 4. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time, mixing vigorously after each addition, until the mixture is thoroughly blended.
- In a separate bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually stir flour mixture into the egg mixture until smooth. Mix in the chocolate chips. Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in preheated oven until an inserted toothpick comes out clean, for about 35 to 40 minutes. Remove, and cool on wire rack before cutting.
