Fresh ginger root

DIRECTIONS
  1. Soak planks in warm water for 1 hour or more.
  2. Stir together vegetable oil, vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, chopped onions, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Place fish in the mixture. Turn to coat. Cover. Marinate for at least 15 min. 
  3. Preheat the grill for medium heat. Place cedar planks on the grate. They are ready when they start to smoke.
  4. Place the marinated fish onto the prepared cedar planks. Grill for 20 minutes, covered. When you can flake the fish with a fork, it's done. Enjoy your Planked Salmon!
