Dry white wine
French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 (1 lb) loaf
Shredded Swiss cheese
Shredded Gruyere cheese
Delicious Cheese Fondue
- Simmer white wine in a fondue pot.
- Add Swiss cheese and Gruyere cheese (about 1/4 lb at a time), stirring after each addition until cheese is completely melted.
- Add flour and stir. Add salt and nutmeg, and stir. Add several drops of lemon juice and stir. Serve with bread. Enjoy your Swiss Cheese Fondue!
