DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F (175° C). Prepare a muffin pan by lining it with paper muffin cups. 
  2. Combine all-purpose flour, wheat flour, oat bran, oats, white sugar, wheat germ, baking powder, soda, and salt. Stir in berries and nuts.
  3. Mix together banana, buttermilk, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Combine the wet mixture and the dry mixture just until blended. Spoon the mixture into muffin cups. 
  4. Bake for 15 minutes (check for doneness by lightly touching the tops of the muffins. They should spring back if they're done). Serve and enjoy your Healthy Muffins!
