DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F (190° C). Prepare baking sheets by greasing them.
  2. Cream together shortening, brown sugar, peanut butter, and 1 cup white sugar until the mixture is smooth. Gradually beat in eggs. Carefully stir in milk and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the brown sugar mixture. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll them in white sugar. Arrange them on the baking sheets.
  4. Bake for 10 min. Remove the Peanut Blossoms from the oven. Press candy into each peanut cookie. Let the cookies cool.
