  1. Cut beef into cubes. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium/high heat, and brown beef cubes with the garlic.
  2. Add mushrooms with liquid, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and red wine. Cover with a lid, reduce heat and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes or until beef cubes are tender. If you wish, add a little more wine while cooking.
