DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine the ground beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, and milk in a large bowl. Mix well using your hands. After that, shape into 8 patties.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Dredge the patties in flour to coat. Quickly brown on both sides in the skillet. 
  3. Put the patties in the slow cooker stacking them like a pyramid. Combine the cream of chicken soup, au jus mix, and water in a medium bowl. 
  4. Pour the mixture over the meat. Cook on the low setting for 5 hours, until the beef is well done.
