  1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
  2. Combine flour and baking powder. Set the mixture aside.
  3. Mix butter and 1 cup sugar until the mixture turns fluffy. Add eggs and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Mix well. Add the flour and baking powder mixture to the butter and sugar mixture 2 tbsps at a time. Mix. Pour into the baking pan.
  4. Bake for half an hour. Pierce with a fork several times.
  5. Let the cake cool a bit. Mix whole milk, condensed milk, and evaporated milk in a bowl. Pour the milk mixture over the top of the cake.
  6. Mix whipping cream, 1 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla together until the mixture turns thick. Spread the mixture over the top of the Tres Leches cake. Refrigerate. Serve. Enjoy your Tres Leches cake!
