DIRECTIONS
  1. Snap the woody ends off the asparagus. Cut the asparagus into 1-inch lengths. 
  2. Pour water into a pot. Add salt. Bring to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook for 8 minutes, or until almost done. Add asparagus. Cook for 4 minutes, or until the pasta is done. Drain. 
  3. Toss the pasta and asparagus with butter, nutmeg, cream, salt, ground black pepper, and cheese. Before serving, top with more cheese. Enjoy your Asparagus Alfredo!
