Fresh broccoli florets
3 cups, shredded
1 1/2 lbs, shredded
1 1/2 tsps
Cheese Soup with Broccoli
- Heat butter over medium heat in a pot until melted. Add flour. Stir well.
- Reduce heat to low. Stirring constantly, cook for 2 min. Add milk and chicken stock. Stir and season with salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil and continue cooking for 10 minutes (low heat).
- Pour water into a pot. Add salt. Bring to a boil. Add broccoli and cook 2 minutes (until tender). Remove the pot from heat, drain. Set aside.
- Gradually mix cheeses into the first pot until melted. Add broccoli. Cook for 5 minutes. Enjoy your Broccoli Cheese Soup!
