DIRECTIONS
  1. Pour water into a pot (6 cups water per 1 cup brown rice). Bring to a boil. 
  2. Meanwhile, rinse the rice in a mesh colander under running water. 
  3. Add the rice to the pot. Boil for 30 minutes. 
  4. Drain. Return the rice to the pot. Cover. Allow the rice to rest for 10 minutes. Fluff the rice. Add soy sauce or salt. Serve.
