Garlic

Lemon juice

DIRECTIONS
  1. Using a paper towel, pat the scallops dry. Season with salt and ground black pepper. 
  2. In a skillet over high, heat oil. Cook the scallops for 2 minutes per side. Then, remove them from the pan.
  3. Add butter to the skillet. Melt it. Add garlic. Cook for 30 seconds. Add juice and thyme (or basil). 
  4. Transfer the scallops to the skillet. Spoon the garlic butter over the top. Before serving, garnish with more thyme if desired. Serve and enjoy your Seared Scallops!
