Garlic
1 tsp, minced
Lemon juice
2 tsp
Thyme, basil, or dill
2 tsp, chopped (plus for garnish)

DIRECTIONS
- Using a paper towel, pat the scallops dry. Season with salt and ground black pepper.
- In a skillet over high, heat oil. Cook the scallops for 2 minutes per side. Then, remove them from the pan.
- Add butter to the skillet. Melt it. Add garlic. Cook for 30 seconds. Add juice and thyme (or basil).
- Transfer the scallops to the skillet. Spoon the garlic butter over the top. Before serving, garnish with more thyme if desired. Serve and enjoy your Seared Scallops!
