DIRECTIONS
  1. Rinse cranberries well. Place the berries in a heavy saucepan. Add sugar, orange zest, juice, and cinnamon stick. Stir.
  2. Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. 
  3. When the berries are all popped, remove from heat. As the sauce cools, it will thicken up. When cooled completely, add water to make it thinner if desired. Remove the cinnamon. Serve the cranberry sauce chilled or at room temperature.
