DIRECTIONS
- Cook beef and garlic in a large pot over medium heat until browned. Drain off the excess grease. Add tomato sauce, ground cumin, chili powder, oregano, salt, and cayenne pepper. Stir. Cover the pot. Reduce to low. Stirring occasionally, allow to simmer for 1 hour. Add 1/2 cup water if becomes too dry.
- Then, in a small bowl, combine masa harina and 1/2 cup water; stir with a fork. Add the mixture to the chili. Stir well. Add beans and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve the chili with cheese, onions, lime, and chips. Enjoy!
