  1. Combine white sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Whisk to incorporate. Add milk. Whisk until sugar and cornstarch are dissolved. Whisk in egg yolk and heavy cream.
  2. Over medium heat, whisk until comes to a boil and thickens. Quickly remove from heat and whisk in Irish cream and pure vanilla extract. 
  3. Add chopped semisweet chocolate. Whisk until melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into serving dishes. Allow to cool slightly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream. Enjoy your Chocolate Pudding!
