DIRECTIONS
  1. Whisk all-purpose flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt together. In a separate bowl, whisk butter, egg yolk, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla together.
  2. Add the butter mixture to the flour mixture. Mix using a spatula. Fold in chocolate and nuts. Refrigerate, covered, for 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350° F (180° C/Gas mark 4). Prepare baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper. 
  4. Roll the dough into balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet 3 inches apart. 
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven. Let the Macadamia Cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes. Then, transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve and enjoy your Chocolate Macadamia Cookies!
