DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350° F (180° C/Gas mark 4).
- In a bowl, mix beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, ground black pepper, Worcestershire sauce (1 1/2 tsp), and garlic powder. Shape into meatballs.
- In a non-stick frying pan, brown the meatballs. Drain on paper towels.
- Next, in a saucepan, combine cornstarch and brown sugar. Add pineapple juice (1 3/4 cup). Blend until smooth. Add vinegar, Worcestershire sauce (1 1/2 tsp), and soy sauce. Stir. Simmer for 8 minutes on medium-low, or until thickened.
- Transfer the meatballs to a casserole dish. Pour the pineapple sauce over them. Add pineapple tidbits. Coat the meatballs with the sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy your Sweet and Sour Meatballs!
