- Place lemon zest into a glass jar. Add vodka. Let infuse for one week at room temperature, loosely covered.
- Then, in a saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil. Boil for 15 minutes, without stirring. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Stir the vodka mixture into the sugar mixture. Strain into glass bottles and seal each with a cork. Keep for 2 weeks at room temperature.
- Then, place bottles into the freezer. Serve icy cold. Enjoy your Limoncello!
