Appetizer: Roasted Pepper Cheese Spread
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 24
Cream cheese
2 packages (16 oz), softened
Cheddar cheese
8 oz, finely shredded
Garlic powder
1 tsp.
Cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ tsp/
Jarred roasted red pepper
1/3 cup, drained, chopped
Fresh parsley
½ cup, chopped (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Use a hand mixer to mix the cheeses with the spices and the sauce. Carefully fold in chopped pepper. Serve with crackers or fresh bread.
- Alternatively, transfer the mixture onto a big piece of plastic wrap, close it up, and shape a cheese ball. Coat in parsley and chill before serving.
