INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Dry lentils
1 cup
Water
1 quart
Vegetable bouillon
1 cube
Tomatoes
3, medium-sized, peeled, diced
Onion
1, large, diced
Carrot
1, sliced
Apple
1, medium-sized, peeled, cored, diced
Frozen peas
1.2 cup
Garlic
1 clove, large
Olive oil
1 tbsp.
Barbecue sauce
¼ cup
Paprika
½ tsp.
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Prepare a large pot, put lentils in it, add water, and mix in the bouillon.
  2. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, and keep simmering for about 20 minutes.
  3. Add all the remaining ingredients but salt and pepper to the pot (from tomatoes to paprika), stir well, and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Before serving, season with salt and pepper.
