Super chewy, fat, classic, and delicious cookies!
INGREDIENTS

All-purpose flour
2 cups
Baking soda
1/2 tsp
Salt
1/2 tsp
Egg
1
Egg yolk
1 egg yolk
Semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups
Unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup
Packed brown sugar
1 cup
White sugar
1/2 cup
Vanilla extract
1 tbsp
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 325° F (165° C).
- Grease baking sheets.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Mix butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a medium bowl and beat in vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until the mixture turns creamy. Add the flour mixture and mix until just blended. Using a spoon, add chocolate chips. Drop dough (1/4 cup at a time) onto the baking sheets. Arrange the cookies 3 inches apart.
- Bake for about 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool on cookie sheets for several minutes. After that, transfer them to wire racks to cool completely.
