INGREDIENTS
Servings: 4
Vegetable oil
2 tbsp.
Garlic
2 cloves, chopped
Ground beef
½ lb.
Cabbage
½ small head, shredded
1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
Soy sauce
2 tbsp.
Cornstarch
1 tsp.
Cold water
½ cup
Ground black pepper
1 tsp., or to taste
Salt
to taste, optional
DIRECTIONS
  1. Prepare a wok or a large skillet and heat it over a medium-high heat. Add oil and garlic and sauté it for 5 seconds, the add beef.
  2. Stir-fry beef until meat is brown and drain the excess fat.
  3. Add cabbage and pepper, stir gently, and cook until beef is ready and vegetables are tender.
  4. Add soy sauce, cornstarch, and water and stir well. Season the dish with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook until the sauce has thickened stirring continuously.
