This easy and tasty meatloaf variation tastes just as good as it smells!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Packed brown sugar
½ cup
Ketchup
½ cup
Lean ground beef
1 ½ lbs.
Milk
¾ cup
2 eggs
Salt
1 ½ tsp.
Ground black pepper
¼ tsp.
1 small onion, chopped
Ground ginger
¼ tsp.
Saltine cracker crumbs
¾ cups, finely crushed
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oven to 350° F/175° C/ Gas Mark 4.
- Grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan lightly.
- Press sugar in the bottom of the pan and spread the ketchup over the sugar.
- Mix all the remaining ingredients (from beef to crumbs) and shape them into a loaf.
- Put it on top of the ketchup.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the juices run clear.
