INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Chicken breast halves
4, skinless, boneless, cut into finger-sized pieces
All-purpose flour
¼ cup
Garlic powder
1 tsp.
Cayenne pepper
1 tsp.
Salt
½ tsp.
Bread crumbs
¾ cup
Egg whites
2, beaten
Water
1 tbsp.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the oven to 400° F/200° C/Gas Mark 6.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet and spray it with a nonstick spray.
  3. Take a bag, add flour to it, and then add half of garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  4. On a separate plate, combine breadcrumbs and the remaining part of garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  5. Add the flour with spices to the chicken pieces and shake well.
  6. Beat water with egg whites and place the mix in a shallow bowl.
  7. Dip the chicken pieces in the egg mix and then roll them in the bread crumb mix. Put the coated pieces on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 8 minutes, then turn over with tongs and bake for another 8 minutes or until the juices run clear.
