Deviled Eggs with Cream Cheese

INGREDIENTS

Eggs

White sugar 
3 tbsps
Water 
3 tbsps
Salt
to taste
Rice vinegar 
1 tbsp
Ground black pepper
to taste
Chives 
  1/4 cup, chopped (for topping)
Red jalapeno pepper 
1, sliced into rings (optional, for topping)
Paprika 
for garnish (optional)
Cream cheese 
2 tbsps
Mayo 
1/3 cup
Sriracha 
1/2 tsp
Dijon mustard 
2 tsps
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cover eggs with water in a pot. Over high heat, bring to a simmer. Remove the pot from heat. Cover and allow it to stand for about 20 minutes. 
  2. In a saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil. Place pepper rings in a small bowl. Pour the syrup over the rings. Stir.
  3. Drain the eggs. Fill the saucepan with cold water. Place the eggs in the cold water for 15 min. 
  4. Peel the eggs. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise. Place egg yolks in a bowl. Cover the egg whites with a damp towel.
  5. Mash together yolks, Sriracha, cream cheese, mayo, and mustard. Add rice vinegar and stir. Season with salt and black pepper. Place the filling into the shells.
  6. Top eggs with pepper rings and chives (or sprinkle with paprika). Serve chilled. Enjoy your Deviled Eggs!
