Ground cumin

Fresh ginger
1 tbsp, minced

Boneless skinless chicken breasts
3, cut into bite-size pieces
Long skewers

Tomato sauce
1 (8 oz) can
Heavy cream
1 cup
Fresh cilantro
1/4 cup, chopped
Butter
1 tbsp
Garlic
1 clove, minced
Jalapeno pepper
1, chopped
Ground cumin
2 tsps
Paprika
2 tsps
Ground cinnamon
1 tsp
Cayenne pepper
2 tsps
Ground black pepper
2 tsps
DIRECTIONS
- Combine yogurt, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, cumin (2 tsps), black pepper, minced ginger, and salt (4 tsps) in a bowl. Add chicken pieces and cover. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill for high heat. Prepare the grate by oiling it.
- Thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers. Grill the chicken for 5 minutes per side.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium. Add garlic and jalapeno pepper. Saute for 1 minute. Season with cumin (2 tsps), paprika, and salt (3 tsps). Add the tomato sauce and heavy cream. Stir. Simmer for 20 minutes (until thickens). Add chicken pieces. Keep cooking on low for 10 min. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. Enjoy your Tikka Masala!
