These easy corn fritters are loaded with flavor and so, so easy to make! Perfect for a party or a picnic!
INGREDIENTS

Whole kernel corn, drained
1 (12-oz) can, drained
Oil
3 cups
Egg
1, beaten
Milk
1/2 cup
Shortening
1 tbsp, melted
Sifted all-purpose flour
1 cup
Baking powder
1 tsp
Salt
1/2 tsp
White sugar
1/4 tsp
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 365° F (185° C).
- Combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and white sugar in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, beat together egg, milk, and shortening. Stir the egg mixture into the flour mixture. Add corn and stir well.
- Drop the batter by spoonfuls into the deep fryer and fry until golden. Use paper towels to drain. Serve and enjoy your Corn Fritters!
