Orange cake mix
1 (18.25 oz.) package
Orange flavored Jell-O mix
1 (3 oz.) package
Boiling water
1 cup
Instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (3.4 oz.) package
1 cup
Vanilla extract
1 tsp.
Orange extract
1 tsp.
Frozen whipped topping
1 (8 oz.) container, thawed
  1. Prepare the cake mix, place it into a 9x13 inch pan, and bake it according to the package directions. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes in cake while it’s still hot.
  2. Take a medium bowl, add boiling water and Jell-O mix, and prepare gelatin.
  3. Pour the gelatin over the cake while gelatin is still liquid and cake is hot, then let the cake cool completely.
  4. Add vanilla pudding mix and milk to a medium bowl, stir in vanilla and orange extracts, and fold in the topping. Spread the mixture evenly over cake.
  5. Keep the cake in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.
