INGREDIENTS
Servings: 2
2 (4 oz.) filet mignon steaks
Black pepper
½ tsp., freshly ground
Salt
to taste
Balsamic vinegar
¼ cup
Dry red wine
¼ cup
DIRECTIONS
  1. Sprinkle pepper and salt over each side of each steak.
  2. Take a nonstick skillet and heat it over a medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 1 minute on each side.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium-low, add balsamic vinegar and wine, cover, and cook for 4 minutes on each side. When turning the meat over, baste it with sauce each time.
  4. Remove steaks on warmed plates and add 1 tablespoon of glaze to each of them. Serve immediately.
