These small rolls of happiness are the perfect appetizer!
INGREDIENTS

Vegetable oil
1 tbsp
Ground pork
1 lb
Garlic powder
1 tsp
Soy sauce
1 tsp
Lumpia wrappers

Vegetable oil for frying

Garlic, crushed
2 cloves
Chopped onion
1/2 cup
Minced carrots
1/2 cup
Chopped green onions
1/2 cup
Thinly sliced green cabbage
1/2 cup
Ground black pepper
1 tsp
Salt
1 tsp
DIRECTIONS
- Pour in 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet. Add pork, cook until no longer pink. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside. Leave a thin coating of grease in the skillet. Cook garlic and onion for about 2 minutes. Add pork, green onions, carrots, and cabbage. Season with garlic powder, soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Remove the skillet from heat. Set aside.
- Place 3 tbsps of the mixture near one corner of the wrappers, leaving a 1 1/2 inch space at ends.
- Fold the side of each wrapper along the length of the mixture over the mixture. Tuck in both ends. Roll. To seal the edge, moisten the other side with water. Cover with plastic wrap.
- Add oil (1/2 inch) to a heavy skillet. Heat for about 5 minutes. Place 4 rolls into the oil. Fry for about 2 min, until they turn golden brown. Use paper towels to drain. Serve.
