INGREDIENTS
Servings: 1
All-purpose flour
1 2/3 cups
Salt
½ tsp.
Baking powder
1 tsp.
Matcha (green tea powder)
1 tbsp. or more, to taste
White sugar
½ cup
1 egg
Melted butter
1/3 cup
Milk
1 cup
Walnuts
¼ cup, chopped
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C/Gas Mark 4. Prepare 12 muffin cupe: spray with cooking spray or use paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour with baking powder, salt, sugar, and matcha.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg with butter and milk.
  4. Combine the dry mixture and the moist mixture, mix until just incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in walnuts.
  6. Fill the muffin cups with batter up to two-thirds.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until the muffins pass the toothpick test. Let sit in the muffin cups for 5 minutes; transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
