The best thing about these spareribs is that they taste equally great either hot or if served at a room temperature.
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Pork spareribs
4 lbs.
Honey
½ cup
Soy sauce
¼ cup
Distilled white vinegar
¼ cup
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Brown sugar
2 tbsp.
Baking soda
1 tsp.
Garlic salt
1 tsp.
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oven to 375° F/190° C/ Gas Mark 5.
- Slice the ribs into pieces. Combine the next five ingredients (from honey to brown sugar) in a large bowl and stir until honey and sugar are dissolved.
- Add baking soda and wait for the mixture to foam.
- Put the ribs in the bowl and turn to coat.
- Line the baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange the ribs on the sheet meat side up.
- Pour the excess sauce over the ribs and sprinkle them with garlic salt.
- Bake for about 1 hour. Turn the ribs every 20 minutes.
