These super juicy, tender authentic Italian meatballs are loaded with flavor! Perfect on top of spaghetti!

Dried parsley

Lean ground beef

Bread crumbs

Ground black pepper
1/4 tsp
Garlic powder
1/8 tsp

Olive oil

Egg, beaten

Onion, chopped
3/4 cup
Tomatoes, peeled
2 (28 oz) cans
Basil, dried
3/4 tsp
Ground black pepper
1/2 tsp
Salt
2 tsps
White sugar
1 tsp
Bay leaf

Tomato paste
1 (6 oz) can
DIRECTIONS
- Mix beef, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, breadcrumbs, dried parsley, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and egg in a bowl. Form the mixture into 12 balls.
- Saute onion and garlic in olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat until onion is translucent. Add peeled tomatoes. sugar, and bay leaf. Season with salt. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 90 minutes, covered. Add tomato paste, 1/2 tsp pepper, basil, and 12 meatballs. Continue cooking for half an hour. Serve with spaghetti. Enjoy your authentic Italian Meatballs!
