INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Pork chops
2 lbs., boneless
Oil
for frying
Eggs
2, beaten
Bread crumbs
plain
Dry mushroom gravy mix
3 (1 oz.) packages
Fresh mushrooms
1 lb., coarsely chopped
DIRECTIONS
  1. Pound out the pork and cut it in half.
  2. Take a large skillet or a Dutch oven and heat it over a medium heat.
  3. Dip the pork pieces first in egg, then in bread crumbs, and then place it in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown turning occasionally. Place the pork on a warm plate when ready.
  4. Take the gravy mix and prepare it according to package directions. Add mushrooms, stir well, and cook them with the gravy.
  5. Serve pork with the gravy over noodles or French fries.
