These soft, chewy, buttery, super thick cookies are coated in cinnamon and sugar!
INGREDIENTS

All-purpose flour
2 3/4 cups
Cream of tartar
2 tsps
Baking soda
1 tsp
Butter, softened
1/2 cup
Ground cinnamon
2 tsps
Shortening
1/2 cup
White sugar
1 1/2 cups
Eggs
2
Vanilla extract
2 tsps
Salt
1/4 tsp
White sugar
2 tbsps
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400° F (200° C).
- Mix softened butter, 1 1/2 cups white sugar, shortening, eggs, and vanilla extract. Add flour, soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Mix well. Shape into balls.
- Mix 2 tbsps white sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough balls in the cinnamon mixture. Place dough balls 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
- Bake for about 10 minutes (until set). Remove from baking sheets. Serve and enjoy your Chewy Snickerdoodles!
