Shrimp Alfredo is one of the greatest comfort food - and it's so easy to make!
INGREDIENTS

Penne pasta
12 oz
Butter
1/4 cup
Extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsps
Onion
1, diced
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Cayenne pepper
1 tsp
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Parsley
1/4 cup, chopped
Red bell pepper, diced
1, diced
Portobello mushrooms, diced
1/2 lb
Medium shrimp
1 lb, peeled and deveined
Alfredo sauce
1 (15 oz) jar
Romano cheese
1/2 cup, grated
Cream
1/2 cup
DIRECTIONS
- Pour water in a large pot and salt it. Bring it to a boil, add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain.
- Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, melt butter with oil. Add onion, and cook for about 2 minutes. Add garlic, red pepper, and Portobello mushrooms. Cook for about 2 minutes over medium heat.
- Add shrimp. Cook until it turns firm and pink. Add Alfredo sauce, cheese, and cream. Stirring, bring to a simmer.
- Season with cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir the penne pasta into the prepared sauce. Serve with parsley. Enjoy!
