INGREDIENTS
Servings: 6
Butter
3 tbsp., divided
Salt
1 ½ tsp.
Ground black pepper
¼ tsp.
All-purpose flour
3 tbsp.
Chicken broth
14.5 oz (1 can)
Pork chops

Thinly sliced potatoes
6 cups
Paprika
1/8 tsp
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C/Gas Mark 4. Grease a cooking dish with 1 tbsp. butter.
  2. Add 1 tbsp. butter to a saucepan. Let melt over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper; stir in flour until smooth. Add chicken broth while whisking thoroughly until smooth. Continue whisking till the sauce boils. Remove from heat.
  3. Brown pork chops on another tbsp. butter in a nonstick skillet.
  4. Layer sliced potatoes in the prepared cooking dish. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and arrange the pork chops on top. Season with paprika.
  5. Cover with a lid or aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the lid or foil and cook for half an hour longer.
