INGREDIENTS
Servings: 12
Pork loin roast
1 (2 lb.), boneless
Olive oil
2 tbsp.
Thyme leaves
2 sprigs, fresh
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Sauerkraut
4 lbs.
Kielbasa
1 lb., cut into 3 inch pieces
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the broiler of your oven.
  2. Prepare a roasting pan, put the pork roast in it, and sprinkle with olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the roast under the broiler and cook for 10 minutes or until lightly browned in some places.
  4. Take a slow cooker and put 2 lbs. of sauerkraut in it. Arrange the kielbasa around the sauerkraut and put the roast in the center of the dish. Cover with the rest of sauerkraut.
  5. Cover and cook on High for 6 hours.
