Cuban fried plantains: This appetizer is made with cooking bananas and is very popular all around the world!
INGREDIENTS

Oil
5 tbsps
Salt
to taste
Plantain
1, peeled, broken into chunks
Cold water
3 cups
DIRECTIONS
- In a large skillet, heat oil. Add plantains to the skillet and fry for 3 1/2 min per side. Remove from the skillet. Use a plate to flatten the plantains: place it over them and press. Dip plantains in cold water. Return them to the skillet. Continue frying them for 1 min on each side. Season with salt. Serve and enjoy your Fried Plantains!
