INGREDIENTS

Cream cheese 
2 (8-oz) packages
White sugar 
3/4 cup
Eggs

Salt 
1/4 tsp
Prepared 8-inch pastry shells

Pumpkin puree 
1 (15-oz) can
Ground cinnamon 
1 1/4 tsps
Ground ginger 
1/2 tsp
Ground nutmeg 
1/2 tsp
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F (175° C/Gas mark 4).
  2. In a bowl, beat together cheese and sugar. Then, add pumpkin puree, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger. Gradually beat in eggs. Add salt and beat until the mixture is creamy.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared shells.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes. Use a knife to check for doneness: insert it in the center and check if it comes out clean. Allow the Pumpkin Cheesecake to cool before serving.
