Black Bean Burgers

INGREDIENTS
Servings: 5
Quinoa 
1/4 cup
Black beans 
  1 (15 oz) can, rinsed and drained
Water 
1/2 cup
Hot pepper sauce 
1 tsp
Egg 
1
Olive oil 
3 tbsps
Bread crumbs 
1/2 cup
Yellow bell pepper 
1/4 cup, minced
Onion 
2 tbsps, minced
Garlic
1, minced
Ground cumin 
1 1/2 tsps
Salt 
1/2 tsp
DIRECTIONS
  1. Pour water in a saucepan. Add quinoa. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 15 min (until the water has been absorbed).
  2. Mash beans with a fork leaving some whole beans.
  3. Mix quinoa, bread crumbs, minced garlic, ground cumin, salt, bell pepper, minced onion,  hot pepper sauce, and egg into the beans. Form into 5 patties.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil. Cook the black bean patties for 2 min per side. Enjoy your Black Bean Burgers!
