American sandwich is one to impress a friend or spoil yourself!
INGREDIENTS

Butter
2 tablespoons
Rye bread
8 slices
Deli sliced corned beef
8 slices
Swiss cheese
8 slices
Sauerkraut, drained
1 cup
Thousand island dressing
1/2 cup
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat a large skillet or griddle on medium heat.
- Spread some butter over one side of bread slices, then, over non-buttered sides. spread some Thousand Island dressing. On 4 bread slices, place these layers:
- 1 slice Swiss cheese
- 2 slices corned beef
- 1/4 cup sauerkraut
- Second slice of Swiss cheese
- Top with remaining bread slices, buttered sides out.
- Arrange sandwiches over frying pan/griddle and grill until both sides are golden brown, and slightly crispy, for about 15 minutes per side. Serve hot.This twist of a traditional
