One of the easiest garlic bread recipes you’ve ever tried!
INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
Garlic
3 heads
Olive oil
2 tbsp.
Italian bread
1 (1 lb.) loaf
Butter
½ cup
Parsley
1 tbsp., fresh, chopped (optional)
Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp., grated (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the oven to 350° F/175° C/Gas Mark 4.
- Take garlic heads, slice the tops off them so that you can see the top of each clove.
- Take a baking pan, place garlic on it, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 30 minutes or until soft.
- Set oven to broil, halve the bread loaf horizontally, and put it on the baking pan, cut-side up.
- Take a medium-sized bowl and squeeze garlic cloves from their skins in it.
- Add all the remaining ingredients and stir until well-blended.
- Spread the mixture onto the cut sides of bread and broil for 5 minutes or until toasted.
