Serve in flour tortillas with guac and salsa!
INGREDIENTS

Chuck roast
4 lbs
Ground cumin
1/2 tsp
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Salt
to taste
Green chile peppers
1 (4 oz) can, chopped
Chili powder
2 tbsps
Dried oregano
1/2 tsp
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 300° F (150° C).
- Place the meat on foil that is large enough to enclose the beef.
- Mix chile peppers, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic, and salt in a bowl. Rub the mixture over the beef. Wrap the meat in the foil. Place the wrapped meat in a roasting pan.
- Bake at 300° F (150° C) for about 4 hours (use a fork to check for doneness: bake until it falls apart with a fork). Remove Beef Carnitas from the oven. Shred with forks.
