INGREDIENTS
Servings: 8
5 potatoes, peeled, quartered
Ground beef
1 lb., lean
Mushrooms
1 (4 oz.) can, sliced
Mixed vegetables
1 (15 oz.) can
Condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10.75 oz.) can
Condensed cream of celery soup
1 (10.75 oz.) can
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Butter
3 tbsp.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the oven to 350° F/175° C/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Pour water in a large pot, season it with salt, bring the water to a boil, and add potatoes. Cook for 15 minutes or until tender.
  4. Drain potatoes reserving a bit of the liquid, mash them, and set aside.
  5. Add ground beef to a large skillet and cook over a medium-high heat until brown.
  6. Add the next six ingredients (from mushrooms to pepper), heat well, pour into the baking dish, cover with potatoes, and add dots of butter.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the whole mixture is bubbly and hot.
