INGREDIENTS

Olive oil
3 tbsp.
Onion, chopped
1/2 cup
Garlic, minced
2 cloves
Boneless pork shoulder, cubed
3 pounds
Green salsa
5 (7 ounce) cans
Diced jalapeno peppers
1 (4 oz) can
Diced tomatoes
1 (14.5 oz) can
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring, to release the fragrance. Add cubed pork and fry until just browned. Place the pork, onions, and garlic to a slow cooker, and mix in the green salsa, jalapeno peppers, and tomatoes.
  2. Cover with a lid, and cook on High for 3 hours. Reduce heat to Low, and cook for 4 to 5 more hours.
